How staying in one of our homes near Walt Disney World works — booking, distance, what's included, and more.
Booking happens off-site through the home's own listing partner (such as Magical Vacation Homes). On a home's page, tap "Book this home" and you'll go straight to its live availability and rates. StayMagicly doesn't take payments directly.
Our Reunion Resort home, The Sophisticated Estate, is about 15 minutes (roughly 10 miles) from the Disney gates by car. You will want a rental car, since off-site homes are not on Disney transportation.
Yes. You book through an established listing partner with its own secure payments, reviews, and support. The trade-off vs. a Disney hotel is that you give up Disney transport and Early Theme Park Entry in exchange for far more space, a private pool, and a full kitchen.
The Sophisticated Estate is a 5-bedroom home that sleeps 12, with 4 bathrooms, a private screened pool and spa, a full kitchen, a formal dining room, a game room with a pool table, free WiFi, and laundry. See the full amenity list on the home page.
That is exactly who these homes are built for. Five separate bedrooms sleeping twelve means everyone gets a real bed and a door that closes, plus shared living space, a kitchen, and a pool to gather around.
For an off-site stay, yes — plan on a rental car. It is a short, predictable drive to the parks (~15 minutes) and gives you the freedom to grab groceries, visit other Orlando attractions, and slip back midday for a pool break.
For families and groups, usually. One nightly rate split across the group often beats multiple hotel rooms, and a full kitchen lets you skip many theme-park meal prices. We cover the math in our save-money guides.
